The kitchen is the heart of the home. Today’s statement kitchens are open plan and large enough to fulfill multiple functions. They often accommodate comfortable seating and include various types of technology and media. The modern kitchen is a place to hang out, relax and connect over a meal.
In this project, the client wanted to convert two separate rooms into an open plan kitchen and dining room. A small window was removed and, in its place new oversized French doors were installed. These were two meters wide and opened directly onto the garden. This not only allowed the area to be flooded with natural light but also allowed the garden to be integral to the space when doors are opened up and weather allows.
The client was a referral from another client who was also delighted with our service. We gave advice and guided on kitchen design and choice of materials. The bespoke kitchen project included installation of new wooden flooring, which gave a natural but elegant finish to the room.
